fyi - The interdisciplinary research monitor of the State Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia (FYI)

The "fyi" research monitor reports on media trends like AI, disinformation, and literacy, combining study insights with expert interviews.

The project is supported by the State Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia (LM NRW).

Description of the project

The "fyi" research monitor of the Landesanstalt für Medien NRW is a regular information format that reports on current developments and trends in the areas of media use, media regulation, and media literacy. With practical insights, it focuses on topics such as disinformation, the impact of (generative) artificial intelligence, and the influence of political influencers. Scientific study results are presented in an understandable way and complemented by interviews with experts from research. The fyi is developed by Dr. Valerie Hase, Philipp Knöpfle, and Ulrike Schwertberger and published by the Landesanstalt für Medien NRW.
